Our feed is non-GMO, corn-free, and soy-free, made with high-quality ingredients sourced locally, primarily from farms within Washington State. We ship it directly from our family-run mill to ensure your flock gets the freshest, most nutritious feed possible, supporting their health and providing nutrient-dense eggs for your family.

We mill our feed in small batches, ensuring peak freshness. Each batch is milled specifically for orders that will be shipped within a day or so, so your flock receives the freshest and most nutritious feed possible. By using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and avoiding fillers or vague byproducts, we maintain transparency and provide the best diet for your hens

One bag of Tiny Dinosaur Feed (19 pounds) lasts approximately one month for two chickens. For a typical backyard flock of 4-6 hens, you'll need 2-3 bags per month, depending on their size and appetite. Our subscription service offers convenient options based on your flock size to ensure you always have the right amount of fresh feed delivered when you need it.

The frequency of feed delivery depends on your flock size. Our subscription plans are tailored to ensure you receive the right amount of feed when you need it. For example:

• 1 chicken: every 55 days
• 2 chickens: every 26 days
• 3 chickens: every 17 days
• 4 chickens: every 12 days
• 5 chickens: every 9 days
• 6 chickens: every 7 days
• 7 chickens: every 14 days (2 bags at a time)
• 8 chickens: every 12 days (2 bags at a time)

This way, your flock always has fresh feed without running out. You can easily adjust, pause, or cancel your subscription through your account for added convenience.

At Tiny Dinosaur Feed, we source our non-GMO canola seeds directly from local farms and crush them in-house using a fully mechanical, chemical-free process. By crushing fresh oil and meal every week, we maintain full control over quality and ensure the nutrition is always at its peak. Our cold-pressed method preserves essential fatty acids like omega-3s, which are vital for your hens’ health. These nutrients support egg quality, feather condition, and overall well-being, providing your flock with the best, most natural nutrition possible.

A portion of each purchase goes towards our Mill Creek Restoration Project, which aims to restore over 40 acres of land and 4,500 feet of creek frontage to revitalize local ecosystems. Your purchase helps us plant trees, nurture wildlife habitats, and support sustainable practices, making each bag of feed not just a product, but a step towards environmental restoration.

We package our feed in 2-ply paper bags to protect freshness and quality. For shipping, we use sturdy cardboard boxes sealed with paper tape, designed to be both secure and environmentally friendly. To ensure that your feed arrives in perfect condition, we even conducted a drop durability test by dropping the feed from our 100-foot silos—spoiler alert, the box survived, and the feed was in great shape!
